    "content": "Secondly, it is a law that is very progressive in appreciating public participation and the fact that private and public institutions that are going to apply it have also been catered for. Again, it has made sure that there is no duplication in line with the Jubilee Manifesto of streamlining the Government operations of roles. Noting about the ineffectiveness of some of the existing institutions like National Environment Management Authority (NEMA), we wish and I believe that the Committee is going to take this step forward to ensure that we make NEMA become effective to discharge its current duties alongside the new duties given by this very progressive piece of legislation.
