    "content": "The law provides that there should be some valuation. Thereafter, the money should be paid promptly. However, I have noted that many constituencies have been disregarding that procedure by negotiating directly. I have even seen instances where the Government acquires land belonging to a deceased person without the requisite letters of administration. I, therefore, propose that this Committee insists that the various entities do adhere to the various laws, particularly the law on succession, so that we can minimise some of those issues which have been captured regarding purchasing of land belonging to the poor."
