From the outset, on my behalf and on behalf of the people of Ol Kalou Constituency, I would like to convey my condolences to the family and the people of Kabete Constituency for the loss of hon. Muchai, the two bodyguards and the driver. Let me just comment on that particular incident. I was among the very first people to arrive at the scene on that fateful Saturday morning, at around three o’clock. What I saw there was no doubt a case of pure assassination. I believe and I have confidence that our security apparatus and security agencies will do all it takes to bring the people behind this heinous act to book. On the Motion before the House, I support but there are one or two issues we should note. We have some Members who are in this list who are of questionable integrity and character. That is a fact."
