"content": "Madam Temporary Deputy Chairlady, I beg to move:- THAT, Clause 25 be amended in Subclause (1) by inserting the words âthrough a competitive process and with the prior approval of the National Assemblyâ immediately after the word âCollegeâ. The rationale for this is that parliamentary approval for the appointment of the principal or the Chief Executive Officer of the college as a public officer is in line with the Constitution. There must be transparency and competitiveness in the vetting process."
