    "content": "Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, according to our culture, we do not wail or cry. If we are bereaved, we just pray for the deceased, but there are people whose culture is wailing, making noise and dancing. We leave that to them. Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, I applaud His Excellency the President for the historic and very bold move that he took, first of all, to address the nation, to allay any fears that Kenyans had. As the Head of State, he demonstrated that he is a real leader who can take the bull by the horns. By addressing the two Houses and willingly going to The Hague, he clearly demonstrated that he is not a coward or guilty of any offence, despite the fact that he has been accused by people who wanted to distract his leadership. For the last 18 months that he has been in leadership, he has also clearly demonstrated that he has the interest and wellbeing of Kenyans at heart.
