    "content": "Thank you, Mr. Temporary Speaker, Sir. I stand on a point of order pursuant to Standing Order No.18 and Article 107(1)(c) of the Constitution of Kenya that Sen. Stephen Sang be elected to preside over the sitting of the Senate for the remainder of the sitting today, 25th March, 2015. I say so because the next agenda is the Mining Bill, which is very crucial. Knowing that you also represent a county called Elgeyo-Marakwet, which is very vital, I know your input in terms of presentation on that Bill is very important. I am not saying that Sen. Sang’s presentation is not important, but having been there for a long time and I am not seeing any of your colleagues here, I am just appealing to the House to elect Sen. Sang to stand in for the remainder of today’s sitting. I beg to request Sen. Elachi to second me."
