    "content": "We have seen the money allocated to the counties rising. We have seen from the analysis that about Kshs283.7 billion is being allocated to the county governments. In percentage terms, this is 37 per cent. It is important that we follow up on how this money is going to be utilized at the county level. It is good that Kshs1 billion was given to the Senate in terms of their monitoring and evaluation role. Indeed, it will be important that, that report is brought here so that we discuss it. That way, we will be in a position to know how monitoring has been done. Last time, we had issues with the Senate when it came to the division of revenue. I want to salute your leadership because this time round both the Senate and the National Assembly were involved as far the issue of the division of revenue is concerned."
