    "content": "Hon. Temporary Deputy Chairman, my amendment is to enrich what the Chairman of the Committee has done. In other words, the amended Clause 4(2) of the Bill will now read as follows: “The office shall comprise the Auditor-General as its statutory head and all staff, including the staff appointed by the Auditor-General to be recruited through an open, transparent and competitive process which promotes fair competition and merit, and observes all the values and principles of public service as contemplated in Article 232 of the Constitution.”"
