"content": "terms of the provisions of the Statutory Instruments Act, those regulations must go to those Committees. I appreciate that in the past, specifically in the last Parliament, the Committee on Finance Planning and Trade as well as the Budget and Appropriations Committee played a lead role, because they are the two Committees to inform the Committee on Delegated Legislation of what is contained in the regulations, and what needs to be decided on them. That is the way they will be dealt with. If you look at Section 205 of the Public Finance Management Act, 2012, you will see the timelines that I am talking about. I am aware that the House will be proceeding on recess, hopefully, at the close of business on Thursday 2nd April, 2015. Nevertheless, the Committees should be able to consider those regulations.
