    "content": "Thank you very much, hon. Deputy Speaker for your indulgence. I also want to join my colleagues to thank the President. For the first time, the President gave a good Speech. It is a diversion from the previous Speech that he gave last year. I support the President’s efforts especially when it comes to corruption. As my colleagues have said, corruption is eating this country. When I look at the Report, the list of shame from EACC, I am not a happy person because my County, Migori, is listed here. It is not good to see the allegations of misappropriations of funds to a tune of Kshs600million. There is something wrong somewhere. There is nothing honourable about corruption, whether it is by a governor, a senator or a member of parliament. There is nothing honourable about being mentioned in a Report like this; that has been made public for Members to see.
