    "content": "Thank you very much, Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir. Our links with the Middle East are both religious and cultural. However, all that has been abused in the face of a blatant racism that occurs, particularly in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. It is time the Government created the Ministry of Diaspora. The Philippines have a ministry that deals with the diaspora and caters for them. Ours is only a small department in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Trade. It is sad that millions of our people are suffering and being mistreated out there, but we do not have a Ministry to address their plight. Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, I urge that this Petition be discussed thoroughly and action be taken. There is no point of claiming that we are an Independent nation when our people are being treated as slaves elsewhere. Thank you, Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir."
