    "content": "Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, I want to thank Sen. Mbura for this Petition. The Government should deal with this matter comprehensively for two reasons. The first one is that there is nothing wrong with Kenyans working in Saudi Arabia or any other Middle East country. In fact, under normal circumstances, the Government should encourage young talented Kenyans to seek employment opportunities elsewhere because of the high level of unemployment in this country. The second point is that we have been told today that Kenya has been singled out as a major centre for human trafficking. It, therefore, calls for the Government to ensure that the Directorate of Immigration, Criminal Investigation Department and other agencies are up to their tasks. I recall that in the run up to the last generation elections one of the Presidential candidates was profiled as having an interest in securing employment opportunities for young Kenyans in Saudi Arabia. Could it be that some of the politicians – not necessarily in the Senate – are either agents of human trafficking or they promote---"
