Temporary Deputy Chairman, I beg to move:- THAT, Clause 8 of the Bill be amended— (a) in paragraph (a) by deleting the words ―subject to section 11 of this Act‖; (b) in paragraph (c) by deleting the expression ―subject to Article 234(5) of the Constitution‖; (c) in paragraph (d) by deleting the expression ―subject to Article 234(5) of the Constitution‖; (d) in paragraph (j) by deleting the words ― and in consultation with the Public Service Commission and the National Treasury,‖ appearing immediately after the words ―relevant laws,‖; and (e) by inserting a new paragraph immediately after paragraph (k)— ―(ka) provide information that may be needed in investigation accordance with the provisions of this Act.‖"
