Who is better placed to be in this meeting than the person who is taking the advice? What will happen here is that the Auditor-General will be writing to this board saying that he needs to be advised on an issue. Then it is better he chairs it and gets the deliberations from the horse‘s mouth. That is why we are proposing that you cannot create a parallel body from an independent office. This is the point you are making and that is why we are proposing that the Auditor-General be the Chair of this Board. Thank you."
