    "content": "individual vis-a-vis corporate responsibility on matters in the Report, I would be wearing the hat of an investigator against the provisions of the Constitution, and in relation to matters that are not within my knowledge. Suffice to say that if the matter had been raised in the House as I have said, or if the Committee, having dealt with the matter itself and arrived at some decision and then informed the House accordingly, the matter would have been addressed within the parameters provided for in the Powers and Privileges Act and the Leadership and Integrity Act. Hon. Members, as matters are now, a Government agency is seized of the issue and, hopefully, due process of the law will prevail. Indeed, it is my belief that investigative agencies will look at the specific allegations against each Member of the Committee and will then hold each and every Member individually accountable. On this basis, I desist from making a ruling on matters that do not fall within the mandate of the Chair, or even of the House at the moment. I thank you"
