    "content": "I am concerned that corruption in this country has not been addressed properly. We had the radical surgery in the Judiciary. People like Justice Ringera and P.L.O. Lumumba tried to deal with corruption and we now have Mumo Matemu, who has brought this list. My concern is that the President has given his political good will, but what about institutions which are supposed to support the step that he has taken? If you look at the list, you will find that more than 50 cases are still under investigation. Some were reported in 2011 and others in 2013, but they are still under investigation. Those people have been affected because they have to step aside. We want action to be taken. There should be nothing like “about to be taken to the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP)” or other cases, “just about to be completed”. How many cases have been completed? Only one case has been completed and about three cases are pending in court. Maybe three years ago, they were still in court. The EACC must know that the President has moved and we now want to see real productive action being taken."
