    "content": "Thank you, hon. Speaker. I rise to make a personal statement. You will recall that sometime last year in the month of May, I proposed a Motion to this House to impeach the Cabinet Secretary (CS) for Planning and Devolution. After complying with all the requirements of the law and the Standing Orders, my Motion was approved for debate in this House. I, therefore, take this earliest opportunity, before getting into the events that led to the abortion of the Motion, to regret and apologize to the hon. Members who supported this Motion. Hon. Speaker, as a leader serving a second term, I know I have a duty to the people of Igembe South, the Members of this august House and the nation at large to behave, act and conduct myself in a manner that conforms to the requirements of the office of a Member of Parliament."
