    "content": "In the list of the alleged corrupt officers presented to this House by His Excellency the President, an officer in the office of the Deputy President is alleged to have used Kshs100 million to mobilize Members of Parliament against this Motion. This creates the impression, or the insinuation, that being the Mover of the Motion, I was the first person to benefit from the alleged amount of Kshs100 million, which is untrue. My zeal and vigour to fight corruption speaks for itself. It was during my time, as the Chairman of the Public Investments Committee (PIC), in the Tenth Parliament that the 16th Report named very senior Government officials, including Ministers for alleged participation in malpractices in the disposal of the Rift Valley Railways (RVR) Company."
