    "content": "Hon. Speaker, this is a very straight forward Motion because hon. Elijah Memusi is joining the committees that were formerly allocated to his predecessor, hon. Nkaissery, who is now a Cabinet Secretary. This is also in accordance with Standing Order No. 175(3), which states that a Member shall not be a Member of a Committee of the House unless the nomination of such Member to the committee is approved by the House. It is for this reason that this Motion is before us today. I request hon. Linturi, who is a Member of the Selection Committee, to second."
