Where an audit report has been tabled, the Speaker of the National Assembly shall invite the Auditor-General to present the report before the Committee of the whole House. The Committee of the whole House is the plenary of the National Assembly. The Auditor-General cannot appear before it. This is a committee of the House. This does not sit well with me. I would suggest, without forcing you to accept it, that he should present the report to the National Assembly."
