    "content": "―(2) The Auditor-General may seek professional assistance in examining a public procurement and asset disposal process under subsection (1).‖ Hon. Temporary Deputy Chairman, I recognise the fact that the Office of the Auditor-General may not necessarily – and does not even need – to have procurement professionals even though they might find it necessary to examine the procurement processes of an entity from time to time. The import of my amendment is to allow the office of the Auditor-General to procure the services of procurement professionals in the event that they find it necessary. It seeks to give him discretion to do so. That is why I am saying that the Auditor-General may seek professional assistance in examining a public procurement and asset disposal process."
