    "content": "very serious issue and the Government should take it seriously. When we talk about promoting education, we should also consider the staffing levels. That is because, at the end of it all, our students are not getting quality education due to shortage of teachers. Mr. Temporary Deputy Speaker, Sir, it is only this year that funds have been released on time. But, all along, it has been a problem. Headteachers are forced to make the students to contribute. Schools cannot run due to the delay in releasing the funds by the Government. I think this time round, I want to congratulate the Minister for making sure that the funds were released early. I think that is very important. Let us continue like that. In the previous years, there were delays. Mr. Temporary Deputy Speaker, Sir, right now, we are talking about economic problems. We are saying that funds should be increased because what is allocated to the students is not matching with the current economic situation. So, when we talk about free education, let it be so because teachers are forced to make subsidies so that they can sustain the running of the schools. I think this Motion is okay and I support it."
