"content": "That is our mandate, to get the Petition, look at it and if it discloses grounds for removal, we send it to the President. It does not fall upon the National Assembly to determine for the President what to do. In fact, under Article 251(4) of the Constitution on receiving a Petition under clause (3) – that is if we are to uphold the Committee’s recommendation and deliver the Petition to the President in the manner that the Committee has already recommended – the President has only two things. One, the President may suspend the Member or office holder, pending the outcome of the complaint, and two, he shall appoint a tribunal, in accordance with clause (5)."
