    "content": "The Committee had to deal with the issues that were before it. We are told that this Motion must be amended to suit certain interests, but we cannot accept that. We are not here to serve particular interests. We are here to make laws and oversee institutions. When this Petitioner appeared before us with issues that were before us, the Committee did its bit by ensuring that it asked the public to address it, which they did. That is why we are saying that the amendment is null and void; it has been brought to the House late."
