    "content": "Thank you, hon. Speaker, for giving me this opportunity to contribute on this sensitive issue. NEMA is a very critical and important body in this country because we know we are an agricultural country. In these amendments, we did not see any reason of removing the Attorney- General’s representative and replacing the same with the Council of Governors. In such a body, it is only fair and important that we have somebody from the State Law Office who will be assisting in some of the legal matters, given that we will have always these wrangles from those who do not want changes in environment. We also did not see any reason for this proposal to reduce the timelines from two years to one year on the commencement of our reports and workplans. With those few remarks, I support the Report."
