Temporary Deputy Chairman I just want, for clarity purposes, to let Members understand that when I was moving the Motion No. 8, I indicated that the amendments on clauses 7,8,13 and 15 were referred to the Departmental Committee on Administration and National Security. The Committee agreed to pass all those clauses. Therefore, we have no objection. The reason given by the Committee is that the Senate aligned it more to the Articles of the Constitution. They made the Public Service (Values and Principles) more accountable, impartial, effective and responsive. So, these are the reasons being given by the Committee. For those reasons which include transparency and accountability and the need to enhance the principle of good governance, I urge the House that we agree with the amendments of the Senate. Thank you, hon. Temporary Deputy Chairman."
