    "content": "Clause 3 of the Bill be amended by deleting paragraph (f). The amendment to Clause 3 seeks to remedy the contradiction that exists between paragraphs (a) and (f). While paragraph (a) provides that the object and purpose of the Bill is to regulate various processes in the potato industry, paragraph (f) provides that the object and purpose of the Bill is to introduce self-regulation across the industry which is not the case. Hence, the committee proposes to delete paragraph (f) in order to correct the anomaly."
