Kagwe, I beg to move:- THAT, Clause 26 of the Bill be amended – (a) in subclause (3) by inserting paragraph (ba) immediately after paragraph (b) – (ba) the necessity of conducting the fundraising appeal; (b) in subclause (4) by inserting the words “the Elections Act” immediately after the words “Ethics Act” appearing in paragraph (e). Mr. Temporary Chairman, Sir, the only explanation that is important here is that he is trying to give a logic to the arrangement of the clauses, but also to remove the words “Election Act” and put the appropriate Act that is supposed to be referred to which is the Ethics Act. So, it makes a lot of sense in that amendment and I accept it."
