    "content": "The Kshs493 million that has been allocated to infrastructure in schools is not enough, but it is something. I thank the Budget and Appropriations Committee for this. We need to build better facilities for our children. In poor rural areas, we have grass thatched classrooms. They cannot afford iron sheets. Others learn under trees. Priority should be given to those areas especially in northern Kenya, some parts of the North Rift, Kitui where I come from and the Coast Province where schools are in dire need of refurbishment, so that they can build the schools to better learning institutions.
