    "content": "Thank you, hon. Temporary Deputy Chairman. I would like to support that deletion because I happened to be in that meeting where the Treasury, the Committee and some of us who were very keen on this Bill were present. There was a big debate. If you look at the Bill, all other methods of procurement are provided even for restricted tendering, single sourcing and quotations. So, when you now open the latitude and allow the Authority to permit other procedures as it may deem fit, it opens doors for abuse. After that debate from all concerned parties, we agreed the best way possible to avoid this abuse was deletion. I support the deletion."
