Temporary Deputy Chairman, I beg to move:- THAT,Clause 143 of the Bill be amended— (a) by deleting subclause (1) and substituting therefor the following new subclause— (1) Subject to the regulations, a successful tenderer shall submit a performance security equivalent to no more than ten per cent of the contract amount before signing of the contract” (b) in subclause (3) by inserting the words “or works and supplies reserved for women, youth, persons with disabilities and other disadvantages groups and for these categories, the performance securities that may be waived or fixed at no more than one per cent of the contract price immediately after the word “Regulations”;"
