    "content": "This amendment has been discussed at great length over a very long period. The bottom line of what we are recommending is that there will be a cutoff date with respect to those who will enjoy these benefits, which is 15th January, 2008. The offices that will be ipso facto affected will be the offices of the former Prime Minister, the former Vice- President and the former Speaker of this House. The idea being that these three persons played a very key role in helping transition in the country together with other leaders from the old constitutional dispensation to the new constitutional dispensation."
