Temporary Deputy Chairman, I support the amendment to Clause 3 as it seeks to widen the definition of ‘retired state officer’ to include those who were in office before 15th January, 2008. I support the proposed amendment on the definition of “state officer” to include “Deputy Prime Minister”. Of course, the former Vice-President, Hon. Kalonzo Musyoka, will benefit from this Bill."
