    "content": "Hon. Temporary Deputy Chairman, I request my friend to withdraw this amendment. I oppose it because this Bill did not just originate from nowhere. Actually, in the last Parliament, this Bill had been passed. It was taken to the Cabinet, where it was discussed. The bottom line is that it was in line with the other benefits provided for offices like the Office of the President, which already is enjoying this benefit. Even the Budget and Appropriations Committee considered all these details at length. What needed to have been removed was removed. The Budget and Appropriations Committee, in consultation with the National Treasury, generally agreed with what has been left in the Bill. We have a letter from the National Treasury, indicating their agreement with the Bill generally, in terms of these percentages. Therefore, I do not see why the Departmental Committee on Finance, Planning and Trade is now working at cross purposes with the Budget and Appropriations Committee, and even with the National Treasury, and bringing these figures. Therefore, I urge that this amendment should be rejected, so that we can leave the Bill to stand agreed with the Budget and Appropriations Committee. Otherwise, we will open other fronts. Thank you."
