    "content": "entrenched the Senate and it is going to stay. For those who are dreaming that they can kill this Senate, they need to go and pray again to the wrong gods. I support this amendment Bill, so that we can have enough resources to work for Kenyans. I am not supporting that Senators get an increment in salary. Most Senators here are well to do. Some of us are pensioners, we have made our money and we have done our work. What we need is facilitation. We want an effective office of the Senate. I am a young lawyer and I did not come to this Senate to look for money. What I need is when I go to the impassable roads of Nyamira County, then I should get a four by four vehicle provided by the Government of Kenya to do my work effectively. I am not going to use my vehicle to go and do my work. When I go to Nyamira County, I need to afford the package of an independent auditor to make a follow-up on the audit queries raised for the county. That is why I support the amendment Bill. With those few remarks, I beg to support."
