Murungi prying very carefully through the Bill – that we must give the country good laws. If we do not have a fortified office of the Auditor General, it matters not who is in Government. Public resources are public resources, whether one is in Government or in Opposition. We should never allow Kenya to be turned into a county where national resources are constantly converted into private resources. When you go to a country like South Korea, which I like quoting, it has fairly high levels of corruption. However, in that country, the sanctuaries of corruption are nonexistent; they catch up with you and you face the full force of the law.
