    "content": "Mr. Speaker, Sir, I would like to join my friend and colleague, Sen. Kagwe in bringing to the attention of this House this very important event in Nyeri of the beatification of Sister Nyaatha. For those of you who do not know much about beatification, it comes from St. Mathew, the eight beatitudes of Jesus Christ. One of them being “blessed are the pure in heart for they shall see God”. Sister Nyaatha died of bubonic plague while serving the poor in a country very far away from her motherland. For over half a century, the Catholic Church has been meditating on whether to beatify her. It takes the Catholic Church a long time to decide whether somebody deserves being a saint because it is not a simple process. None of us in this House was born when the sister was serving in Nyeri.
