"content": "Members is summoned to go and appear before a police station or the Ethics and Anti- Corruption Commission. I think you will do us some good if, on the basis of this contravention, some action is taken to show that it is not right that a Member of Parliament is summoned in the manner that you have described. This is because if there are no consequences, then one day despite what you have said, one person may just walk through the door and say: “Mr. Speaker, I have summons for you,” and put you in a very embarrassing situation. Is there anything else that you can do to protect the dignity of this House? There has been a violation which should be punished."
