    "content": "Thank you, Mr. Speaker Sir. This kind of Petition shows that the public is aware of their responsibilities in making sure that the funds allocated to the counties are used in their best interest. Once they realize that things are not going in the right way, they have made the attempt of taking this issue up with the Ethics and Anti- Corruption Commission (EACC) which unfortunately is not meeting the expectations of the public. That is why they went there and there was nothing moving and they have moved to the Senate. That puts a lot of responsibility on us and we have to make sure that we sustain this kind of trust from the public. That will require the Committees which are assigned these Petitions to make sure that they do a thorough job. It requires proper facilitation so that we sustain that trust from the public."
