I rise to support the amendments but it is important that, as we spend time making laws in both the Senate and the National Assembly, we look at issues critically, and not just for the sake of presenting them or checking grammar. Amendments brought to this House by the Senate should be for purposes of the prosperity of this administration. It is important that issues highlighted are within the Bill. The amendments that have been brought to this House are not on serious issues. They have caused us to suspend our recess and spend time. This kind of approach to issues may not be helpful in taking the country forward."
