    "content": "Thank you, hon. Deputy Speaker for giving me the opportunity to contribute to this Report. I stand to support this Report. I start by appreciating the work of the Committee, particularly the hardworking Chairperson who always gives very clear and articulate presentations. There is no doubt that we need to preserve our environment, particularly in countries in Africa which are developing. Africa has a lot of resources that could be tapped and protected from other people who may actually misuse them. There is, therefore, need to have a co-ordinating mechanism. This Bill is really appropriate. I am most grateful that the Mediation Committee worked so hard and displayed a lot of tolerance as is required. This is really the relationship we expect between the National Assembly and the Senate."
