"content": " Mr. Temporary Deputy Speaker, Sir, I think Mr. Kabogo did not understand what I said or what you read. What he says should have been done was actually done. The Question was redirected in accordance with our procedures in Parliament. The Ministries that were supposed to respond, that is, the Ministry of Agriculture which deals with the planting and harvesting of maize, purchasing and storage was informed. The Ministry of Finance that is mandated with the execution of the Price and Monopolies Act was also informed in very good time and there is nothing more we could do as the Ministry of Trade other than that. But we did the needful at the right time. May I mention here that what Mr. Kiuna has said that the Government is shifting goal posts and avoiding or delaying a response to this Question is not true. It is just a Question. A statement like that is totally uncalled for because the Government knows what it is doing."
