First, the fact is that the Cabinet Secretary (CS) called me herself. I did not call her. That happened when I was sitting in the Budget and Appropriations Committee. Other Members of the Committee are here and they will confirm that, that is what happened because I told them who I was speaking to. We then discussed the issue. She apologized that she was not able to appear before the Committee because she was in Mali where she had been sent by the President. I asked her whether she did all that she could to make sure that she met the Committee and she said yes. She said that she came back on a Friday and tried to get hold of the Committee on Saturday, but nobody answered her phone call.
