    "content": "The other thing is that we should see more affirmative action to ensure that those areas are safe from the crop disease. The recommendation prevailing now is that farmers should not grow maize for the next three years so that the disease disappears. However, little has been done in terms of training farmers and giving them alternative crops to plant meanwhile. Therefore, we should put more emphasis on the control of the disease and compensation of farmers who have lost their crop as a result to this disease."
