    "content": "Thank you, Mr. Temporary Speaker, Sir. I first thank Sen. Khaniri for a very clear and authoritative presentation, as well as for the good news which has been brought here, that an agreement has been reached and that we are now in a position to meet the deadline of 27th May 2015, in respect to this particular issue. I also thank the Chairman of the Committee on Land and Natural Resources, Sen. Kivuti, for seconding this Motion and providing guidance in the proceedings that led to this agreement. I also thank the Speaker of the Senate for selecting a strong team of Senators to represent the Senate; people who understand the issues that were in contention and are familiar with the policies that guide issues of environment management. More importantly, they are committed and focused. This is the reason that we have been able to reach an agreement on these issues under contention. Mr. Temporary Speaker, Sir, I agree with you entirely that we are all very impressed with the record time within which all the issues in dispute were resolved.
