Speaker, the power and energy sectors through these amendments have been allocated Kshs 55 billion and a lot of money has been allocated to geothermal power generation. No money has been allocated to hydropower generation. For this country to grow we have to generate so much power and make it cheap so that we attract direct foreign investments. People will come to Kenya to manufacture because power is cheap.
