Statements made in the House cannot be subject of investigations by other bodies. They are privileged. Whatever is said here is privileged. Unfortunately, some Members have a habit of saying certain things on the Floor of the House where they are privileged then when they go and see crowds in funerals, they think they are also privileged. Out there you do not enjoy any privilege. You run the risk of being dealt with by the other arms of Government with regard to the content of the statements you make out there.
