    "content": "Looking at the budgetary interventions we have had to undertake to meet the shortfalls in food production, you will appreciate that they are sometimes far in access of what it would take to put up a fertilizer factory locally. Last year and in previous years, we had to cut the budgets of all the Ministries to ensure that we provided Kenyans with food. So, if we can do mitigation at this stage and make sure that the costs of fertilizers reduce, it will mean that, with the current acreage, we will be able to increase the food output by over 30 per cent and, therefore, enhance our food security."
