    "content": "Thank you, Madam Temporary Deputy Speaker. I also rise to support this Motion. I wish to thank the Mover for bringing this very important Motion. Given that our country, as has been pointed out by other Members, is an agricultural country, the demand for fertilizer in this country runs into huge volumes to support the various crops such as tea, coffee, maize, wheat, pyrethrum, horticulture and sugar-cane. It is not an issue for debate whether the demand is there. The truth is that it is a testament of mismanagement that over the years, this country has not come up with its own fertilizer factory. Indeed, we have neighbouring countries, such as Mauritius, a small country with a much less demand for fertilizer which is able to support a fertilizer factory."
