    "content": "Yes. Hon. Speaker, I want to thank my colleagues for their valuable contribution to theFisheries Management and Development Bill, 2014. This is a very important Bill because of the global demand for fish which has put pressure on the natural fish stocks. This was very critical in the food security of our country. We felt as a country that we should align our fisheries laws and management to global standards. Kenya earns close to Kshs18 billion, approximately USD250 million."
